Pilots Don't Grow Up, Why Should Flight Instructors?~Guest Video Blogger John Niehaus, NAFI Program Director

Sometimes remembering how to keep things light-hearted and fun can be the best instructional technique of all. Thinking about what inspired us as kids to do what we do, can be the best way to teach even the most grown-up of all of us. Be silly and don't take yourself so seriously, and most of all inspire fun into your teaching!

I gained several Students because they thought having me as an instructor would be "more fun." They saw my students having a great time and wanted to be a part of it. I always said "Learning this stuff is possible, but having fun is mandatory."
